Devastated by the news her husband is missing and plagued by the fight they had before he left, Helen joins a USO troupe set to entertain soldiers on the Aleutian Islands. Once there she plans to find and bring home her missing husband.
Payton delivers a compelling and detail rich story from the duel perspectives of our protagonists. It deals with issues of war, duty and grief told lovingly through an adventurous love story.
